With a strong commitment to serving his community, Bob was the Captain of the Deputy Corps with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff office for 15 years. As well as being appointed to the Selective Service for 20 years as a board member. One of his many passions was diving! He loved to dive all over the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico as a Master Diver for over 20 years logging in over 400 dives. When he wasn’t diving you could find him at the shooting range, as well as listening to his favorite 50’s music. And if you really knew this man you also know he loved his 55 Chevy and his faithful German Shepard Jade. To all my love ones, “I’m OK!” The Big Guy & I be Mates Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., rosary to be recited at 11:45 a.m. Interment will follow the mass at Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
